Our dental team is a collection of truly special individuals. Almost all of them have 20, 30, or even 40 years of experience in the dental field, and each one is completely committed to the mission here at White Clay Dental Associates, which is to provide world-class care and service in equal measure. From our front desk team to the assistants and hygienists in the back, they’re all ready to deliver a dental experience unlike any other. Read on below to start getting to know everyone!
One of the newest members of our practice, Debbie is a dentistry veteran with more than 30 years of experience. She loves meeting new people and helping them understand their insurance benefits. To best serve our patients, Debbie holds certifications in both CPR and OSHA compliance. She’s also completed management courses. Debbie and her husband Bruce are proud of their three wonderful children, Patrick, Kiersten, Trace, and they love to spoil their grandson, Landen. After work, Debbie enjoys spending time with family, relaxing, reading, and cooking.
We are excited to welcome Dusty back to our practice after having worked here in the 90’s. She is happy to be “back home” at White Clay Dental Associates and is enjoying reconnecting with so many familiar patients. Dusty is originally from West Virginia and is a graduate of Huntington (W.Va.) Jr. College of Business. She and her husband Jon have two sons, Jonathan and Matthew. In her spare time, she helps with a charitable foundation and stays involved with her boys’ sports and activities at school.
Cheryl has been with White Clay Dental Associates since 2016. She has more than 40 years of experience in the dental field and brings a wealth of wisdom to her work for our practice. She especially enjoys working with our team.
Cheryl is originally from Wilmington and attended John Dickinson High School and Delaware Tech Community College for dental assisting. She and her husband, Victor, have two children and two granddaughters. In her spare time, Cheryl enjoys camping, traveling in an RV with Victor, and spending time with her grandkids.
For nearly three decades, Gina has delivered outstanding patient care. New to White Clay Dental Associates, Gina loves working with many different people and helping them achieve their smile goals. Originally from Wilmington, she attended Delaware Tech where she received her associate's degree in Dental Hygiene in 1986. She and her husband of 28 years, Anthony, have two children, Angela and Anthony Jr. When she’s not busy with work or family, Gina enjoys sports, visiting the beach, and reading.
While she’s only recently joined our practice, Ava has over forty-five years of dental experience. Her degrees from Wesley College and Temple University have made her a highly effective hygienist. Plus, she’s very committed to her role. After all, she really loves working with patients to give them great smiles!
As a Delaware native, Ava enjoys taking in our state’s natural beauty. To that end, she’ll often hike, walk, bike, fish, and play with her dog Gracie. Otherwise, you’ll likely find her spending time with her sons and grandsons. For her, family is often the greatest company.
Angel graduated from Hodgson Vocational High School where she received her dental assisting training. She then continued her dental education at Delaware Tech where she earned her Associate degree in Dental Hygiene. Angel enjoys going to the beach, fishing, snowboarding and spending time with her husband and their child.
Gina has been in the dental field since 1994 and joined our practice in 2007. She received her dental assistant training while attending Delcastle Technical High School. A Wilmington native, Gina loves her work because she gets to experience hands-on involvement in improving our patients’ dental health. She and her husband Jerry have two children, Josie and Tristan. Gina spends much of her spare time relaxing with family, but she also enjoys visiting the beach and attending country music concerts.
Melissa joined us not too long ago, but she’s made her presence known with her skilled work. She earned her education at John Dickinson High School and in the dental assisting program at the Dawn Career Institute. Of course, her passion is clear in her work as well – she loves that she can learn something new every day on the job!
Outside of work, Melissa especially enjoys spending time with her family. Whether it’s her mom, her two sisters, or her dog Princess, she loves traveling with such great people. She also does them proud by being the first of her family to get higher education!
